



1. Open NIS.
2. Double-click Personal Firewall.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Click the General Rules button.
5. The General Rules (System-Wide) Settings screen appears.
6. Click Add. The Add Rule dialog box appears.
7. Select Permit Internet access, and then click Next. The contents of
the Add Rule dialog box change.
8. Select Connections to and from other computers, and then click Next.
The contents of the Add Rule dialog box change.
9. Select the "Only computers
and sites listed below" option, click Add, and enter the IP address (82.68.122.157)
into the box. Click OK.
10. Select TCP and UDP.
11. Select Only the types of communication or ports listed, and then
click Add. The Specify Ports dialog box appears.
12. Choose Individually specified ports and Remote.
13. Type 80 into the box.
14. Click OK. This closes the window. The Add Rule dialog box appears.
15. Click Next.
16. Select Create an event log entry, and then click Next.
17. Name the rule, and then click Next.
18. Confirm your entries, and then
click Finish.
19. Close the program.
You can also change the startup type for ccProxy.exe
1. Open the Services applet:
A. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
B. Double-click Administrative Tools.
C. Double-click Services
2. Change the startup type:
A. Double-click the name of the proxy service.
Symantec Network Proxy Service
B. Choose Manual from the Startup Type list.
C. Click OK
3. Restart the computer.
